The Folk Project values your privacy and security.

We collect information from you in a variety of ways, such as when you join the Folk Project, purchase tickets, sign up for our email lists, register for our Festival, or respond to a survey. If you purchase something from us online you may be asked to provide your credit card number and billing address to the third party provider that will process the transaction. The Folk Project never sees your credit card information.

On the Folk Project website we collect anonymous data such as IP addresses, browser types, referring pages, pages visited and time spent on our site. We use this information in the aggregate to analyze and improve the site. None of it is linked to personally identifiable information.

The Folk Project uses the information you provide us in the following ways:

We do not use cookies on our website. The web site automatically logs a visitor's activities on the site (i.e. what pages they have accessed and when), but does not identify them by name, only IP address.
