Join us for the 2018 New Jersey Uke Fest, the Folk Project's sixth annual ukulele festival! The festival will be held at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey in Whippany, NJ on Friday, Aug. 24, and Saturday, Aug. 25, with an outdoor Jam on the Green in Morristown on Sunday, Aug. 26. We will have everything you've come to expect from a uke fest: concerts, workshops, vendors, an open mic, jams, and more!

Open Mic Contestants

The following 12 people (plus three alternates) were randomly chosen to perform one song each during the lunchtime open mic contest. The winner (chosen by judge FiL Wisneski) will get to perform one song during the Saturday night concert. If you were chosen, please be tuned up and ready to play! This is the order you will be performing in:

New This Year!

As we continue to refine our uke fest, we've made a few changes this year. Paper handout copies will now be included in your ticket price (unless you opt out). Saturday's lunch will also be included in your ticket price (unless you opt out).

Lunchtime open mic slots will ONLY be available to those who register in advance.


On Friday, Aug. 24 and Saturday, Aug. 25, the New Jersey Uke Fest will be held at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey, 60C North Jefferson Road Whippany, NJ 07981. Get Directions »

7–7:30 p.m.: Pre-Fest entertainment by members of the Morristown Uke Jam under the Portico

7:30–10 p.m.: Concert: Gracie Terzian, Abe Lagrimas, Jr.
