Sam Edelston

Sam Edelston is a leader in the mountain dulcimer scene, playing folk tunes, Tin Pan Alley, classic rock, originals, humor, and more. Joellen Lapidus (who introduced Joni Mitchell to the instrument) wrote, “With his complex layered arrangements of so many genres of music for the dulcimer, Sam has added a huge chapter to the development of the mountain dulcimer as a versatile and ever growing musical American folk instrument.” Based in Connecticut, Sam performs at dulcimer festivals around the country, folk clubs, and rock venues. He will be celebrating the release of his first album, “Making Waves,” which features the dulcimer in contemporary music.
