Alex Radus is known as a sultry crooner (City Paper) and master guitarist (Courier News), but his songwriting takes center stage. Known affectionately for his unique brand of “genre whiplash”, he pairs whimsical and poignant storytelling with an eclectic mix of Americana, swing, blues, folk and more. Alex hails from Pennsylvania’s artistically rich Lehigh and Delaware river valley region, where he has established himself as one of the area’s premiere original music artists. Most recently, he was selected as a 2024 Falcon Ridge Folk Fest Emerging Artist and voted a Most Wanted Artist to return to the Main Stage in 2025.
In his early years he learned from some of the nation’s best finger-pickers, including John Cephas, Pat Donohue, Mary Flower and Eddie Pennington, who helped influence his unique finger style and respect for traditional music.
Alex has performed with John Gorka as part of the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band, and has been direct support for Gorka, Richie Havens, Tim Reynolds, Darrell Scott, Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), and more. As a member of the folk noir duo, duende, Alex was a staple of NYC’s early aughts Anti-Folk scene at the Sidewalk Café, where he performed alongside some of the City’s best up-and-coming and established songwriters, including Regina Spektor, Nellie McKay and the Moldy Peaches.
He has toured extensively, recorded multiple albums, and earned awards, nominations and critical acclaim for his songwriting, recording and performing. His music has been featured on radio, TV and film, including Adolescence, directed by Ashley Avis (Black Beauty). A staple of the eastern PA music scene, he is a frequent performer at the region’s best festivals and venues, including Musikfest, Zoellner Arts Center, Godfrey Daniels, Steelstacks, Hopewell Theater, World Cafe Live and more. The Alex Radus Band features Daniella Fischetti (violin), Robbie Sko (piano), Daniel Manchester (upright bass), and Charlie Heim.
“Alex Radus is a remarkable artist. He is an excellent guitarist, songwriter and singer. He moves across multiple genres with effortless virtuosity. Whether playing solo or with an ensemble, Alex is surely worth going out of your way to hear.” – John Gorka

Lucy is an acclaimed singer-songwriter whose warm, crystalline voice and emotionally intelligent songwriting have made her one of the most respected artists in contemporary folk. A native of Chicago, she moved to New York City in the 1980s, where she became part of the Greenwich Village folk scene alongside Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, and Richard Shindell. After stepping away from music to earn a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, she returned to performing and recording in the 1990s, quickly gaining recognition for her intimate storytelling and luminous harmonies.
Over the course of her celebrated career, Kaplansky has released a string of critically praised albums, including Ten Year Night, Every Single Day, and The Red Thread, blending personal reflection with universal themes of love, loss, and resilience. She has collaborated with folk luminaries such as Dar Williams and Richard Shindell in the beloved trio Cry Cry Cry, toured internationally, and earned numerous accolades for her artistry. With her rare combination of intelligence, empathy, and vocal grace, Lucy Kaplansky continues to move audiences with songs that feel both timeless and deeply human.
