best known worldwide as a harpist, having toured and taught for over 20 years. Her music career began, however, as a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, dulcimer, banjo, bodhran; founded The Folk Project in 1971, toured w/ Frostwater in 70s. Taking up the harp in 1981, she toured for 10 years in duet and another 10 as a soloist. She has recorded over a dozen harp albums and is a respected author of numerous music-related books & instructional DVDs.
