Sharon Klein

Sharon Klein is a veteran of the Greenwich Village folk scene and a staple of the Hudson Valley Americana circuit. A skilled finger-style guitarist and sharp lyricist, her songs blend edgy social commentary with emotional depth. She was music programmer and featured performer for 11 years at the prestigious Woodstock Invitational Luthier Showcase. Sharon landed a publishing deal in her early 20s with Burt Bacharach’s company and has had music featured everywhere from the Super Bowl to Saturday Night Live. She teaches songwriting at Bard’s Lifelong Learning Institute and shares her home with her partner, pets, and 11 guitars.
