Claudia Gibson‘s Folk/Americana songs merge her top-notch musical skills with a lifetime’s experience, creating songs rich with human emotion. Whether it’s the purposeful journey of “Cleveland, Ohio,” the improbably successful domestic life of “Step By Step,” or the uncertain existence of young immigrants in “Dreamers,” Claudia’s songs describe moments and emotions we all recognize. Based in Austin, TX, Claudia has been a Kerrville New Folk finalist, an artist at the Dripping Springs and Corpus Christi Songwriter Festivals, and 1st place winner in the Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest. Claudia’s upcoming album, produced by Walt Wilkins, will be released in early 2024.
